Breast Imaging Radiologist | MRI-Focused Assignment | Full Travel Paid

Job description

This hospital-based practice is seeking a Board-Certified Breast Imaging Radiologist for a 6-month assignment starting March 2, 2026, with full-time weekday coverage. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch, totaling 8.5 hours per day. You’ll work in a well-supported department that is heavily focused on Breast MRI, diagnostic breast imaging, and procedures. Daily volumes average 26–28 diagnostic cases, with procedural days including 6–8 breast procedures in addition to case reading, generating approximately 60–70 wRVUs. Support is comprehensive, with medical assistants assisting in procedures, coordinators managing scheduling, two mammography technologists per machine, and on-site ultrasound technologists dedicated to breast cases—allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care and efficiency.

Candidates must hold active board certification, an active state license (IMLC may be considered), DEA, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days.
