Mental Health Therapist (LCSW-C, LCPC, LICSW, LPC, Psychologist) — Hybrid Telehealth in the DMV

Job description

Not another national telehealth gig. At Integrated Health Resources (IHR), we’re building a DMV-rooted practice where therapists have autonomy, community, and meaningful client relationships — without the churn of high-volume platforms.

🌟 About the Role

As a Therapist at IHR, you’ll provide outpatient psychotherapy for adults and teens (16+). Success here means delivering culturally responsive, evidence-based care while collaborating with prescribers and colleagues to support continuity. You’ll thrive if you value independence in your schedule and the connection of a supportive team.

This role is central to our mission: to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive mental health care that empowers individuals and families to heal, grow, and thrive. Together, we’re shaping a DMV-based network known for accessibility, equity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy.

Use evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed approaches) aligned with client needs.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, PCPs, and other care providers.

Document concisely and on time in our EHR (Tebra).

Participate in peer consultations and case reviews.

Stay current with therapy best practices and professional development.

Qualifications

Independent licensure required — applicants must hold one of the following:

Maryland: LCSW-C, LCPC, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)

DC: LICSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist

Experience treating common conditions: anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma (perinatal mental health a plus).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Commitment to inclusivity, cultural humility, and evidence-based care.

Malpractice insurance required (1099 model).

Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHR workflows.

(Note: LMSW, LGSW, LGPC, and Psychology Associate applicants are not eligible at this time.)

Compensation & Model

1099 contractor role

Transparent percentage of net collections (actual payments received) — no hidden formulas or confusing pay scales

Paid twice monthly via direct deposit

Compensation range:

LCSW-C / LCPC / LICSW / LPC: 55–60% of net collections

Psychologist (PhD/PsyD): 60–65% of net collections

Minimum: 10 billable hours/week (flexible schedule, hybrid telehealth-first model)

Start timeline: Interviews are rolling now; start date is after completion of credentialing (typically 60–90 days).

💡 Why This Role is Different

No quotas, no churn — we value depth, not volume

You focus on clients — we handle credentialing, billing, scheduling, and tech

Flexibility with community — clinician-led scheduling plus peer consults and touchpoints

Local impact — DMV-rooted practice, serving diverse communities close to home
