About the clinician's workday
The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients Monday through Friday during 8-hour day shifts with no call requirements. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients with severe mental health conditions including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and acute anxiety disorders. The clinician will manage 12-16 patients per day with census levels of 80-85% capacity and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care delivery for patients with an average length of stay of 7-10 days.
