The AI systems being developed for mental health are trained and tested by real psychiatrists. The teams building them need psychiatric experts who can create realistic case studies, judge how well an AI handles mental health information, write the clinical answer a psychiatrist would give, and explain where the system falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of AI models works in sensitive clinical settings. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.

What you'll do
• Build realistic psychiatric cases used to train and test AI, and to support education and research
• Assess AI-generated mental health evaluations against Japanese psychiatric practice
• Write psychiatric documentation and clinical analysis in Japanese and English
• Explain where an AI system's methods or conclusions fall short in complex psychiatric situations

Who this is for
• An MD, MBBS or equivalent medical degree and completed psychiatry residency
• A valid medical license, and experience with psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and case documentation, gained in Japanese clinical settings
• Fluent Japanese, advanced written and spoken English, and cultural sensitivity with ethical reasoning for complex psychiatric situations
• No AI experience needed. You bring the psychiatric expertise.

• $100–$200 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
