This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical network providing specialized neurological services to the northern Michigan community. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR system and offers both inpatient and outpatient neurological care with a supportive medical staff environment.

Physician - Neurology

Job Details:
• Coverage starting May 2026 with scheduled blocks through December 2026
• Clinic hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with outpatient appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
• Provide call coverage after hours including night call and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities
• See 6-8 patients per day with both inpatient and outpatient care
• Perform EEG reads for inpatient and outpatient cases as needed
• Provide onsite hospital coverage when outpatients are not scheduled
• Required procedures include radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, EEG, brain death examination, and evoked potentials
• Must be Board Certified in Neurology (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Michigan license required at time of name clear
• Provider must be local - no flights allowed
• Active DEA confirmation required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required with NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency preferred
• Clean malpractice history required
• Current immunizations required including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid documentation, TB within 12 months, and TDAP
• Use DocTime system for clocking in/out with reverse invoicing

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
