Aya Locums is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to support an ongoing call-only locum opportunity beginning March 2026 in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a nephrologist with transplant experience seeking predictable monthly call, a highly specialized consult role, and an ongoing assignment.

Specialty: Nephrology – Transplant
Start Date: 03/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule Details:
• One week of coverage per month
• Call runs Monday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM

Work Details:
• Inpatient transplant nephrology call coverage
• Patient volume: 3-5 consults per shift

Responsibilities include:
Consulting on post–kidney transplant patients
Writing dialysis orders
Managing kidney-specific needs
Providing nephrology consults for liver patients
Advising on immunosuppression management for internal and external providers
• EMR: Epic
• Dedicated transplant unit (10 beds)

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active WA license or IMLC
• Certifications: BLS

Credentialing:
• Estimated timeframe: 30-90 days
