Nephrology (Transplant) Locum Opportunity – Seattle, WA
Start Date:

Coverage Type:
• Call only
• Seeking one week of coverage per month, starting ASAP
Schedule:
• Monday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM (7 consecutive days)
Work Details:
• Average patient volume: 3–5 patients per shift
• Inpatient consults only
• Consult on post–kidney transplant patients
• Write dialysis orders and manage kidney-specific needs
• Provide nephrology consults for liver patients as needed
• Phone consults from other physicians, ERs, and outside hospitals regarding immunosuppression management
Clinic Coverage:
• Required only if the provider is transplant-trained
• Otherwise, role is limited to Monday–Monday call coverage
Practice Setting:
• Inpatient
• Department size: 10 beds
Additional Details:
• EMR: Epic
• Providers requested: 1
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Nephrology
• Active Washington license or IMLC accepted
• BLS required
• Transplant nephrology training or strong transplant experience required
Credentialing:
• 30–90 days
