The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real clinicians. The teams building them need hospitalists who can examine realistic inpatient charts, determine whether the clinical details and billing claims match the evidence, describe what accurate documentation should contain, and explain where the record has gaps or errors. Your clinical judgment becomes part of how the next generation of medical AI models works. This is remote, part-time contractor work with flexible scheduling, focused on inpatient chart review.

What you'll do
• Assess FHIR records, clinical notes, claims and hospital charts for completeness and accuracy
• Determine whether the chart substantiates the reported clinical details and claims
• Compare the HPI, past history, assessments and plans with the standards used for inpatient notes
• Flag gaps, errors or contradictions in the documentation and explain your findings clearly

Who this is for
• MD or DO degree, with board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Hospital Medicine
• In the last two years, you have held a current or recent inpatient or hospitalist role
• Strong grasp of inpatient charting and hospital workflows, with fluent English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the clinical expertise; the work provides structured chart-review tasks and feedback criteria.

• $100–$120 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
