About the clinician's workday

The hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient care during night shifts focusing exclusively on day rounding responsibilities with no admitting duties. The clinician will work collaboratively with 3 advanced practice professionals and coordinate with 10 physicians providing daily coverage. Board certification is required along with Mississippi state license and DEA credentials at the time of presentation. The position involves managing adult patients requiring hospitalization while maintaining accurate electronic documentation. Procedures are not required for this role, which emphasizes rounding and patient management responsibilities.
