Physician, Part-Time AI Inpatient Documentation Review - Remote (United States)

The teams building them need hospitalists to review inpatient records, assess whether an AI system follows documentation guidelines, produce clear evidence-based assessments, and set out the basis for each decision. Your clinical judgment helps shape the next generation of medical AI. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.

What you'll do
• Review raw medical record data alongside inpatient clinical notes
• Evaluate AI outputs against inpatient medical documentation guidelines
• Record evidence-based judgments, including the basis for each decision
• Apply the same review standards consistently across repeated tasks

Who this is for
• A US medical license
• Strong knowledge of hospital workflows and inpatient medical documentation, including admissions, discharge documentation, daily progress notes and transitions of care
• Comfortable reviewing raw medical record data and clinical notes
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply guidelines consistently
• Preferred qualifications include an MD or DO. Preferred credentials also include Internal Medicine board certification, 5 years or more of hospitalist experience, and inpatient hospitalist experience that is current or within the last two years
• No AI experience needed. You bring the clinical expertise; the work provides structured documentation-review tasks and guidelines.

• $80–$125 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
