Schedule & Call Structure

24-hour call shifts

14–21 shifts per month

Average 6 hours of call-back per day

Rounding & admissions required

Provider may be offsite when not rounding or performing procedures

Setting & Privileges

Privileges: Hospital + Clinic

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Inpatient beds: 350

EMR: EPIC

Patient demographics: Adults

Average patients per day: 8–12

Procedures & Requirements

Required Procedures:

Colonoscopy

EGD

ERCP Requirements:

Must have performed 100 total ERCPs

Must provide case logs showing 40 ERCPs in the last 24 months

Clinical Activity Requirements (24 months):

Case list documenting 100 patients representing full scope of privileges

Case list must include diagnosis/procedure, date, and facility

Team Structure:

Not solo — multiple GI providers on staff

Weekday daytime APC support

Facility is working toward adding weekend APC coverage

Licensing & Certifications

WA license or IMLC required

Certifications: BLSC + ERCP (AHA or Red Cross)

• Ongoing assignment
