Trauma Level III hospital
EMR: Athena / MedHost
Support includes 1 PA (Monday–Friday)

Schedule & Call

24‑hour call coverage
Inpatient consults
ED consults
Transfer evaluations
Call required for the entire coverage block


Clinical Scope

General Gastroenterology
Inpatient and ED consultative work
ERCP and EUS experience preferred


Requirements

Board‑Certified Gastroenterologist
Active Texas license required
DEA required
ACLS required
Comfortable managing inpatient consult volume independently
Clean file preferred

• Inpatient consults ED consults Transfer evaluations
