Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This assignment offers a consistent block schedule with a balanced mix of procedures and inpatient care.

Position Overview:

Start Date: Late June 2026
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
No call required

Clinical Responsibilities:
Perform colonoscopy and EGD procedures
Provide inpatient consults and GI coverage
Manage adult patient population

Work Details:
Average 10–11 patients per day
Combination of procedural and inpatient work
EMR: Epic

Requirements:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Active state license or willingness to obtain
DEA required
Minimum 2 years of experience
