Gastroenterology Locum Tenens Opportunity – York, Pennsylvania

A large hospital in York, PA is seeking a Gastroenterologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage starting in May. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for consistent blocks with a supportive inpatient environment and no advanced procedures required.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: May 4, 2026
Ongoing Coverage Needed
Schedule: 7-day blocks (Monday 7am – Monday 7am)
Shift Type: 24-hour call with 10-hour day shifts
OR Start Time: 7:30 AM

Specific Dates Needed:

05/04 7am – 05/11 7am
06/15 7am – 06/19 5pm
06/22 7am – 06/26 5pm
07/20 7am – 07/27 7am
08/17 7am – 08/24 7am

Additional ongoing need for one week per month plus weekend coverage.

Practice Setting:

Hospital-based
Adult patient population (18+)
EMR: EPIC
Anesthesiology support onsite

Scope of Work:

General GI procedures and call coverage
No ERCP or EUS required

Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Active Pennsylvania license
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing:

Approximately 90 days
Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
