Gastroenterologist Opportunity

Start Date:
• February 6, 2026

Contract Length:
• 2 months

Schedule & Coverage:
• Monday–Sunday 24-hour call coverage
• Shifts run 7a–7a
• Providers must submit exact dates and times available

Dates Needing Coverage:
• 7a Feb 6 – 7a Feb 10
• 7a Feb 27 – 7a Mar 2
• 7a Mar 6 – 7a Mar 13
• 7a Mar 20 – 7a Mar 23
• 7a Mar 27 – 7a Mar 30

Work Details:
• Average inpatient census: ~12 patients per day
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Full hospital support including RNs, NPs, specialty backup, and 24-hour anesthesia
• Procedures required only for emergent cases
• EUS and ERCP preferred but not required

Practice Setting:
• Hospital-based
• 219-bed facility

Additional Details:
• EMR: Cerner
• 24/7 GI coverage needed

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active state license in Pennsylvania required
• DEA required
• BLS & ACLS required

Credentialing:
• Emergency privileges available in 1 week or less with a clean file and fast-moving provider
• Full privileges: 60–90 days
