This locum tenens opportunity offers a steady weekday schedule focused on inpatient GI consults with a manageable daily volume and strong team support.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
No call

Assignment Details
9/8/2026 – 11/2/2026

Clinical Setting
Inpatient gastroenterology consult service

Scope of Work
Daily inpatient consults and follow-ups
Collaborate with physician on treatment plans
Participate in rounding and care coordination

Patient Volume
6–12 new consults/day
5–8 follow-ups/day

Procedures
No procedures required

Support
Typically paired with another PA
Physician support for rounding and case review

Requirements
Physician Assistant only
GI or relevant inpatient experience preferred

Additional Info
Potential for short periods of solo coverage
Travel covered
Consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities
