Job description

A busy Emergency Department in South Carolina is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians for ongoing night shift locum coverage. This is a modern, high-acuity setting with excellent APP and scribe support.

Opportunity Details:
Shifts: Primarily 8-hour night shifts (12-hour shifts available if preferred)

Volume: ~190 ED visits/day

Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center operating at Level 1 standards

Newly built ED (2021) with 80 beds and separate psych unit

Team Support: 3 MDs + 5 APPs + scribes and extenders

All emergency procedures required

Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages

Schedule:
12–14 shifts/month needed

Flexible scheduling around provider availability

Requirements:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (FM/IM not accepted)

Emergency Medicine residency trained

Active South Carolina medical license

South Carolina CSR & DEA (must remain registered in SC)

ACLS, ATLS preferred
