7x24hr Shifts a Month - 5 Bed ER - Trauma Level IV - Low Volume - NM

Job description

Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month: 7x 24hr shifts per month
• Frequency of any Call needed: 7x 24hr shifts per month
• Schedule Details: typically 8am start – 8am end

Work Details:
• Support staff: 2 RNs + 1 aid per shift.
• Department Description: 5 bed ER department. Level IV Trauma. Glidescope, transfer of all PICU and ICU patients. Provides emergency medical care for all patient populations, working independently with strong nursing support. Stabilizes/manages a wide range of emergency conditions and ensures timely documentation.
• Patient Volume: 12-20 patients per 24hr shift
• Patient Age Group: All ages
• EMR/Documentation System: Cerner

Requirements:
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: BC in Emergency Medicine highly preferred (will accept Family Practice or Internal Medicine BC/training)
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: NM required
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): ACLS/ATLS/PALS (required if not BC)
• CSR Req’d?: Yes
• DEA Req’d?: Yes (NM)
• Are vaccines mandatory?: Yes
Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 60-90 days
