Louisiana Emergency Medicine Locum Need

Job description

• Facility Volume: About 20,635 annual volume. Averaging about 57 patients/day
• MD/DO Certification Requirements & Any Specific Experience Requirements: BC/BE EM preferred but hospital will also accept BC FM/IM trained w/ ED experience.
• Merit Badge: ATLS and ACLS is not required for EM boarded but is required for FM or IM trained docs
• Shift Preference: Days & Nights
• Facility Specific Notes: EMR is EPIC. Not a lot of backup specialties on site. Any patients needing to be transferred would go to the larger, sister hospital: Christus Highland Medical Center. Expedited credentialing (30+ days) is doable
• Coverage & Shift Times:
• Physician: 6a-6p & 6p-6a daily
• NPPA: 10a-10p daily
• 90 day credential
