Urgent Care APP needed in Texas with Aya Locums

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Urgent Care NP or PA to support an ongoing locum opportunity in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Start Date: 04/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled

Schedule Details:
• Monday-Saturday: 8:00 AM- 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM

Work Details:
• Daily patient volume: 30-60 patients per shift; busy and fast-paced
• Patient population/age: WOMB TO TOMB–must be comfortable caring for patients 3 months and older
• EMR: Practice Velocity
• Skills required: Typical Urgent Care procedures including closing lacerations, I&D, reading X-rays and EKGs; Work Comp experience and DOT certification a plus

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient

Requirements:
• Board certification: Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds
• License: TX
• Experience: 3-6 years of Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience
