San Antonio TX Level 4 Emergency Medicine Locum Need

Job description

• Client prefers locum-to-perm candidates
• Looking for EM physicians and APPs because of growth- BC/EM or BC/FP/IM with ED experience
• Cred process is 90-160 days
• Contract length: 3month-1year
• Shift Details: MD Hours: 7am-7pm; 7pm-7am APP Hours: 10am-8pm; 4pm-2am
• Total Number of ED Beds: 12 plus 4-bed Express Care staffed with APP’s
• Trauma Level Designation: Level IV
• Annual ED Volume: 25,500 (70 visits/day)
• Certifications Needed: ACLS, ATLS (BC/EM not required), PALS
• ED OPERATIONS INFORMATION: Admission Percentage 10% - Average Patients per Hour: MD 1.4, APP 1.6 - Transfer Rate: 5%
• Specialty Back-Up: General Surgery, Urology, OB/GYN, Interventional Cardiology, Nephrology, Interventional Radiology, and Pediatrics
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Will accept IMLC – will not license otherwise
• Travel: flight, hotel, and car rental covered. Be specific in your sub what your provider is requesting.
