About the clinician's workday

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will conduct 75-minute individual therapy sessions with assigned patients throughout the day shift, managing a small caseload of typically 1-3 patients with a highly individualized care approach. The clinician will complete intake assessments often involving family and significant others, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing care using solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing for adults with substance use disorders primarily involving alcohol with co-occurring mental health conditions. The position requires monitoring patient progress through assessments and data-driven treatment adjustments while participating in discharge planning and aftercare coordination within the specialized addiction treatment center environment.
