Assignment Details

Specialty: Cardiology

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 1 year (client will only consider candidates willing to commit to a full year)

Schedule Options: Monday–Friday or 7on/7off

Shift Length: 8-hour days beginning at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM

Call: No call


Clinical Setting

Practice Type: Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)

Work Scope: Inpatient only — consults only, no follow-ups

Floor work only; no ICU

Support Staff: NPs and PAs

Patient Volume: ~10 patients/day

Hospital Size: 1,078 beds

EMR: Cerner

Required Skills: Cardiograms, Nuclear Stress Tests


Coverage Requirements

Monthly Need: 2 weeks per month

Background: Must be fully clean

Pre-App: Mandatory for license & background pre-check


Provider Requirements

Board Certification: Required

State License: Required unless IMLC

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS & ACLS required

Experience: Inpatient cardiology experience strongly preferred


Credentialing

Timeframe: ~60 days

Willing to License: Yes — IMLC only
