Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed – Richmond, VA

Assignment Overview
Start Date: As early as December 1, 2025
Duration: Ongoing

Schedule & Call
Preferred Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Shift Options: 10-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour shifts
Call: Yes
Monday–Friday:
In-house coverage: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Home call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekends (Saturday/Sunday): 24-hour home call

Practice Setting & Clinical Details
Care Model: Care Team Model with CRNAs
Role: Provider may work solo or supervise CRNAs for cardiac cases
Patient Population: Adults
Case Mix: Cardiac and other acute care cases

Requirements
MD/DO
TEE Certified – required

Credentialing & Systems
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
EMR & Systems: Expanse, Meditech, Medaxion, Qgenda, Patient Keeper

Compensation
$430/hour
