Job description

Aya Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 6-month 1099 contract in Burlington, Vermont. This opening offers a consistent four-day schedule with no required call and a varied mix of pediatric and adult cases.

Schedule

Start date: December 21, 2026
Contract through May 29, 2027
4x10-hour shifts per week
Tuesday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
Must have Monday-Friday availability for scheduling
No required call
Practice Details

Acute care hospital setting
Approximately 4-8 patients per day
Adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient mix
Mix of solo cases and supervision of residents, CRNAs, and CAAs
Providers should be comfortable transitioning between pediatric and adult cases throughout the day
Credentials

Active Vermont license
ACLS and PALS
Pediatric Anesthesiology board certification preferred
Full 6-month commitment preferred
