Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address staffing needs from August 10 through September 25.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide 100% hands-on anesthesia care during day shifts at an ambulatory surgery center in New York, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is an on-site assignment with no call coverage required. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required for all clinicians in this role. This facility operates 4 ORs, with 3 rooms typically running daily (occasionally 2 or all 4). The provider will manage 100% of their own cases and can expect a diverse case mix including ENT, pediatric tonsils and tubes, orthopedic arthroscopies, total knee replacements, plastics, shoulder, knee and wrist procedures, as well as spine and nerve cases. Experience performing orthopedic blocks is preferred, though some flexibility may be available. The facility utilizes Mednet Oasis as its EMR system.
