About the clinician's workday

The anesthesiologist will provide inpatient and OR anesthesia coverage on weekday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with shared call coverage that includes unrestricted nights and weekends. Weekday night call runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend call runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM; one physician and two CRNAs are on call, with the second CRNA serving as backup. All call is beeper call; however, day cases on Saturday and Sunday should be expected. The clinician must be willing to work cases independently when needed, though the primary role is supervisory in nature.
