Locums Anesthesiologist Needed in California - No Call

Job description

Start Date:
-August 2026 - Ongoing

Schedule:
-Scheduled with no call required
-4 or 5 days per week
-Shifts generally 8 hours, can be up to 10 hours depending on cases
-Minimum of 40 hours per week, if not more
-Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-No fixed shift requirements
-No weekend or call schedule
-Providers float between multiple facilities

Clinical Details:
-Practice Setting: Hospital float pool with CRNA support
-Patient Population: Adolescents (13+) and adults
-Cases: Mix of outpatient and inpatient surgical cases, mostly general cases with occasional regional cases
-Excluded Cases: No cardiac, liver, or neuro cases
-Supervision: Will predominantly work solo with occasional oversight of CRNAs
-Experience: Recent experience (last 2-3+ years) with a mix of outpatient and inpatient surgical cases preferred
-Charting System: Epic
-Providers will be floated between sister facilities

Additional Information:
-Board Certification required (will consider board eligible with fellowship training)
-DEA with Schedule 2/2n required
-Preferred certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA)
-Minimum 2 years anesthesiology experience required
-All inclusive
