Anesthesiology Locums Opportunity – Eureka, CA

Job description

Providers must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month, including nights, weekends, and the last week of each month.

You will start on day shifts for a few weeks before rotating into nights.

Weekday Shifts:

Start at 7a, rotating 8–12 hours

Evening: 3p–11p

Night: 7p–7a (2nd call 7p–11p / 1st call after 11p)

Weekend Shifts:

Day 1: 7a–7p

Day 2: 7a–7a (24-hr Call – 2nd call)

Night: 7a–7a (24-hr Call – 3rd call 7a–7p / 1st call 7p–7a)

Call Type: Beeper call; weekend call is remote.

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Trauma Level: III

Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric

Support Staff: Yes

EMR: Epic

Required Skills:
General, adult, pediatrics, trauma, spinal, epidural, regional, OB, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex ortho, pain management techniques, post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, vent management, central line placement, arterial line placement.


Requirements

Board Certified

Active CA License

Minimum 2 years recent hospital clinical experience

Credentialing: 90–120 days
