CRNA – Job Summary

Schedule
- Start date: January 4
- Monday–Friday, full-time only
- 4–5 (10-hour) shifts per week
- Shift times vary: 6:15 AM–4:45 PM, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Scheduled coverage; no call and no overtime
- Contract continues until the end of the approval period
Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a hospital setting under a medically directed model of 1:3, with a maximum of 1:4.
- Care for patients of all ages across various surgical and procedural specialties.
- Perform anesthesia services for trauma, neuro/spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, orthopedics, plastics, robotics, and NORA cases.
- Perform epidurals without a physician present. CRNAs cannot perform blocks.
- Use Epic EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active Pennsylvania license or compact license.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- At least 2 years of experience preferred.
- Required skills: GETA, MAC, regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and ultrasound techniques.
- DEA registration is not required.
