CRNA Locum Opportunity – Northern Maine
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Coverage Needed: Ongoing dates through October 2026

Position Overview
We are seeking 1 experienced CRNA for a locum opportunity at a small, independent practice hospital in northern Maine. This is a solo coverage model with a strong focus on endoscopy cases and no call requirements, offering an excellent work-life balance.

Compensation
$250/hour + Travel & Lodging covered

Coverage Dates Include:
March 30 – April 3
April 6–10; 13–17
May 18–22
June 19; 22–26; 29–30
July 6–10; 13–17; 20–24; 30–31
August 3–7; 10–14; 17–21; 24–28; 31 – Sept 4
October 5–9
Additional dates may be added

Practice Details
Coverage Model: Solo CRNA (1 provider/day)
Case Types: Endo (primary), General, Ortho, Urology, Pediatrics
EMR: Paper (transitioning to electronic system in late 2026)

Requirements
BLS & ACLS
Comfortable with independent practice - prior experience required
Strong skills in spinals, blocks, and epidurals
Maine license (or ability to obtain quickly)

Licensing Notes (Maine)
RN license processing: ~7–14 business days once complete
APRN/CRNA licensure: ~6–8 weeks
Temporary authority (up to 90 days) may be available for qualified providers
Early application is strongly recommended.

Providers typically fly into:
Presque Isle, ME (PQI) – closest commercial airport
Bangor, ME (BGR) – more flight options
Rental car provided
