Position Overview
• Specialty: CRNA
• Provider Type: CRNA
• Start Date: August 2026 (flexible start after August)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with options to extend
• Practice Setting: Hospital based Level I Trauma Center
• Clinical Environment:
o High acuity trauma setting
o Providers must have recent Level I trauma experience
o No OB cases
o NORA coverage required
• Case Mix Includes:
o Orthopedics
o Trauma
o Vascular
o Neuro (no cardiac cases)
• Patient Population: All ages (no neonates)

Schedule and Coverage
• Schedule: Full time
• Shift Structure: 4 × 10 hour shifts
o 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30 minute lunch)
• Monthly Requirement:
o Providers must be able to work 2 weeks per month
• Patient Volume: Varies (1–9 cases per day)
• Overtime: Not offered

Provider Requirements
• Board Certification: NBCRNA
• Licensure:
o Active Kentucky license required
o Facility willing to license
• Experience:
o Minimum 1 year experience required
o No new graduates
o Must have recent experience in a large medical center
o Level I trauma experience required
• Required Skills:
o Intubation
o Central line placement
o Arterial line placement
o Line placement
o Blocks unlikely; no OB
• Practice Model:
o Medically directed CRNAs
o Typical supervision ratios 2:1 or 3:1 (up to 4:1 for low acuity)
o Residents frequently present; attending focus is split between rooms and teaching
