Fairbanks, Alaska 1099 CRNA Locum Need!

📍 Position Overview
• Start Date: January 2026 (Ongoing Assignment)
• Housing/Travel: Surgery center physicians own a duplex (3-bedroom) adjacent to the facility for CRNA use. Travel, airfare, lodging, and car rental are fully covered.
• Licensure: Active Alaska medical license required/will consider licensing candidates.

🕒 Schedule & Hours
• Procedures begin at 7:30 AM; CRNAs should arrive by 7:00 AM.
• Credentialing is handled internally (temp privs offered)

🏥 Practice Model
• Physician-owned ambulatory surgery center (ASC).
• Team-based model with CRNAs managing their own cases (~10% medical direction).
• Comfortable practicing independently.

🩺 Clinical Skills & Case Mix
• Blocks performed: Interscalene (primary), with occasional supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary, adductor canal, genicular PENG, popliteal, and TAP blocks.
• Catheters: Interscalene and adductor canal.
• Case types: General surgery, hernias, eyes, ENT, sinus, orthopedics, colonoscopies.
o NO Urology and complex hospital-level cases.
• Volume: ~2,800 cases annually; patient load varies.
