Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate full-time union opening with a non-profit organization operating a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary, specialty, and behavioral health care to ensure health access for all.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Deliver safe, quality patient care under RN direction within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
✔ Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications and immunizations; monitor and document patient responses and side effects.
✔ Perform clinical treatments and procedures: venipuncture/phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, EKGs, and Foley catheter insertion/removal.
✔ Support respiratory needs via aerosol/inhalation therapies, deep breathing exercises, and oral/endotracheal suctioning.
✔ Assist with therapeutic modalities (incentive spirometry, hot/cold therapy) and prep patients for examinations.
✔ Accurately collect specimens and document vital signs, height, weight, and head circumference.

Qualifications
✔ Education: Certificate of completion from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
✔ Licensure & Certifications:
✔ Active New York State LPN License and registration
✔ Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification
✔ Current Infection Control Certificate & Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Certificate
✔ Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred.
✔ Technical Skills: Competence in IV starts, phlebotomy, catheterization, EKGs, immunization administration, and basic computer/typing skills.
✔ Soft Skills & Language: Strong clinical judgment, multi-patient prioritization, and clear communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
