Mobile Wound Care Provider (NP / PA) – 1099 Independent Contractor

Job Overview
We are a specialized mobile wound care practice committed to delivering advanced, compassionate care directly to patients. We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing clinical team as an Independent Contractor (1099). In this role, you will enjoy the autonomy of managing your own schedule while providing high-quality bedside wound care. You will travel to patient locations within your designated market, perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document care.
Key Responsibilities
In-Person Care: Travel to various patient locations to perform comprehensive wound care assessments and treatments.
Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized wound care treatment plans.
Clinical Procedures: Perform procedures as clinically indicated (e.g., debridement, advanced dressing applications).
Documentation: Maintain highly accurate, detailed, and timely patient records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, primary care physicians, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
Operations: Manage daily routes and scheduling communications using Google Workspace tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure: Active, unencumbered state license as an APRN/NP or PA in the state of practice.
Experience: Documented clinical experience in wound care is required.
Credentialing: Must be actively Medicare credentialed.
Certification: Wound Care Certification (e.g., WCC, CWCN, CWS) is highly preferred.
Technology: Proficient in EHR documentation and comfortable utilizing Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
Logistics: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally within your assigned market.
Attributes: High level of autonomy, excellent time-management skills, and strong clinical judgment.
Compensation & Flexibility
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: Paid per visit — $75.00 to $150.00 per visit (depending on visit type and clinical complexity)
Flexibility: Complete freedom to set your own schedule and manage your caseload
