Compensation

‣ Salary: $112.55–$147.44 per hour
‣ Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan

Job Responsibilities

‣ Provide professional physician services in the Quick Care/Urgent Care setting
‣ Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients
‣ Provide appropriate medical care based on patient needs
‣ Develop and implement appropriate care plans
‣ Make effective clinical decisions during stressful and emergency circumstances
‣ Provide appropriate referrals and coordinate with outside agencies when necessary
‣ Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
‣ Follow department and facility safety procedures
‣ Follow infection control policies and procedures
‣ Respect and protect patient rights
‣ Follow emergency response procedures
‣ Perform required administrative duties
‣ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
‣ Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds
‣ Use medical equipment, supplies, and related technology efficiently, effectively, and safely

Qualifications

‣ Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
‣ Some positions may require two years of clinical practice experience
‣ Valid Nevada medical license — required
‣ Nevada State Pharmacy Board License to prescribe medications — required
‣ DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate — required
‣ BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) — required
