Pediatrician needed for full-time clinic coverage in SE Alabama

Job description

Pediatric primary care needed in NE Alabama
Location: Northeast Alabama - Calhoun County
Travel + Lodging accommodations can be provided
Dates: Oct 2026-Mar 2027 (with potential to extend)
Ongoing coverage needed (locum-to-perm options)
Ages seen: 0-21 years
Average patient volume: 25-30 /day
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: Full clinic days; Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Scope of Practice: Sick visits, Well-child visits, ADHD management, Care for patients with autism
Support Staff: Front desk support; Department staff for check-in, triage, referrals, and laboratory services
In-house lab capabilities include CBC, hemoglobin, glucose testing, vision/hearing screens, urinalysis, bilirubin, PKU testing, X-ray, EKG, rapid testing, molecular RSV testing, and lead testing
Procedures: Minimal procedures required, Occasional suture removal
BC or truly BE in Pediatrics required
