Locums – APP – Nurse Practitioner – Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care, California

Contract Length: 3 months (through March 27, 2026)
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinic hours only (no call)

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or until last patient is treated

Must be available to float between 4 clinic locations:

Concord

Brentwood

Walnut Creek

Pleasanton

Coverage needed: 5 days/week

Clinical Details

Setting: Outpatient clinic / private practice

Patient population: All ages

Department functions include:

Diagnosis & treatment of work-related injuries

Pre-placement, DOT, public safety & surveillance physicals

Walk-in urgent care evaluations and treatment

In-office procedures as needed

Potential oversight/collaboration with APPs

Employer communication & return-to-work guidance

Timely and complete documentation per clinic standards

Walk-in and scheduled patients

EMR: Allscripts

Skills & Requirements

DOT certification required at time of submission

Must be comfortable working autonomously, including:

Suturing

Independent management of urgent care presentations

Provider Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible in primary care or related field

Active California license required

Local candidates strongly preferred
