Location: Outpatient Clinic (Confidential – Community Setting)
Start Date: ASAP or upon credentialing
Assignment Length: 3+ Months (with option to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; optional weekends
Setting: 100% Outpatient Pediatrics

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide locum tenens outpatient primary care for infants, children, and adolescents. This opportunity is perfect for a physician who values meaningful patient relationships, teamwork, and serving a diverse community population.
You will perform exams, manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, provide vaccinations, and deliver preventative and developmental counseling—all in a supportive clinic environment focused on high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive pediatric exams and evaluations

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions

Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests

Manage vaccinations and preventive care

Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EMR

Educate families on health, development, nutrition, and safety

Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other clinical team members

Coordinate specialty referrals when needed


Qualifications

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Active state license (or willingness to obtain)

DEA registration

BLS/CPR certification

Prior outpatient pediatric experience strongly preferred
