Family Medicine Locum in Washington State

Specialty: Family Practice
Start Date: As soon as credentialed ; looking for ASAP start
Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (40 hours/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Work Details

Setting: Outpatient ambulatory / Community Health Center

Support Staff:

Dedicated MA for each provider

Receptionist

Mental health therapists

Dietitians

Most clinics also include an onsite pediatric provider and a local administrator

Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Patient Volume: Up to 21 patients per day (fast-paced environment; lower volume possible due to cancellations)

Patient Population: All ages, newborns through geriatrics

EMR: EPIC

Procedures: Basic primary care procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care

Skills Required: Must be ready to work independently. One-week onboarding, with patient care expected to begin by day 3.

Certification: ABFM Board Certified or ABIM Board Certified with experience seeing all ages
