Locums Family Medicine Physician - IN license

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to provide locum services in an outpatient clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent weekday coverage with a focus on elderly care. Coverage is needed beginning December 2025 for an ongoing contract with potential for an ongoing placement.

🏥 Job Details:

Setting: Outpatient clinic

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (standard 8-hour shifts)

Coverage: Scheduled shifts with minimal call requirements

Shift Commitment: Full-time weekday coverage; no holidays or weekends

Patient Volume: Light workload initially, building to ~10 patients/day as clinic grows

Patient Population: Adults, primarily age 55+

Focus Areas: Primary care with emphasis on elderly care

Team Support: Nurses onsite with NP joining for additional support

Systems: EMR: Intus Care

📋 Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Family Medicine

License: Active state license required (no willingness to license)

Certifications: DEA and other applicable credentials

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with patients age 55+; PACE program experience strongly preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
